Hey! I'm Jen Carr, a personal trainer, nutrition coach and co-creator of Wonder Athletics.
Today, I help women get lean, strong and feel confident in their bodies. How? Because I’ve done the work myself and I’m here to teach you how you can achieve this as well.
Exercise has always been my form of escape. Growing up I was active, playing 3 sports and even though I may have looked the part, I was really unhealthy. I was the pinnacle of “skinny fat” and could get away with eating whatever I wanted. As time went on it all caught up to me, leading to my gain of the infamous “freshman 15” during college.
I began spending 2 hours at the gym on a daily basis, but continued to struggle with binge eating, drinking and anxiety. At the time I felt isolated and didn’t have the right resources to ask for help. I simply didn’t know where to turn.
I hit a very low point in my life and have experienced things that I hope no one has to go through alone. That’s why I created this program. I wanted to create a space where there’s no unanswered questions. A community where women support women to get stronger, mentally and physically.
